URSULA BAYER
PAINTER & POET
Ursula Bayer was born in Steinbach Germany
Studied at the Academy of Art Berlin and
Goldsmith's College University of London
Lives and works in London Powys Wales and Fez Maroc
A powerful Painter of poetic imagination Bayer is neither
an Expressionist nor a Surrealist in the established sense
her use of pictorial language shows total originality
she is a multimedia artist a painter who creates a whole world
one which also includes sculpture performance and installation
she has shown sculpture at Christie's and at the Graves Art Gallery
Sheffield and paintings in the Whitechapel Open the Royal Festival Hall
and the Museum of Gelsenkirchen Germany to name but a few
she has been represented at myriad International Art Fairs
